Preparing for Move Out

We’re truly sorry to see you go and wish you all the best in your next chapter! As your lease term comes to an end, our goal is to ensure your move-out process is as smooth and stress-free as possible. Let us guide you through what to expect.

Move-Out Notice

Please submit your move-out notice at least 30 days before your lease ends (or as stated in your lease agreement). For example, if your lease ends on April 30th, your notice should be submitted by March 31st. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate mid-month move outs. You can easily submit your notice through your AppFolio Online Portal.

Preparing for the Final Inspection

To help you prepare for your move-out inspection and increase your chances of receiving your full security deposit refund, we’ve created a quick and helpful video. Be sure to check it out:

Utility

Please remember to contact your utility providers to cancel or transfer your accounts. Per your lease, utilities must stay active for at least 3 days after keys are returned so our team can complete the final inspection smoothly.

Key Return

All keys, garage remotes, and access devices should be returned to our office on or before your lease end date. Missing items may result in replacement fees, so please double-check before you go.

Security Deposit

After your final inspection, we’ll process your security deposit refund. If there are any deductions for cleaning, damages beyond normal wear-and-tear, or unpaid rent, we’ll provide a detailed itemized statement. Your refund will then be mailed or sent to you promptly.

Forwarding Address

Before you move out, please share your forwarding address so we can send your refund and any important mail without delay.
